Free tool lending for your study project
The ETH Library offers practical support for ETH Zurich faculty, staff and students with a free service allowing them to borrow the tools they need for their project work.
Need to put the finishing touches to one of your ideas but don’t have the tool you need? You can borrow portable electric tools and accessories for your project work from the ETH Library. These include electric sanders, impact drills, rotary hammers and much more. New tools now available: screw clamps, a laser spirit level and an 81-piece tool case. Borrow tools for free
The loan is free of charge, and the loan period is limited to a maximum of seven days. All you need is your ETH card and a library account for ETH Library @ swisscovery. The standard ETH Library conditions of use and late fees apply.
Good to know: You can collect and return the tools on the Zentrum and H?nggerberg campuses. Please refer to our website for more information.
