Searching and finding without registering

external pageETH Library @ swisscovery allows you to access all online resources in ETH Zurich’s network without previous registration. You can also conduct research in the Central Discovery Index (CDI) and filter by library at ETH Zurich without registering. The selected search scope always remains visible while searching. Registration is required only if you want to place an order or access “My account”.

Selecting and ordering optimised for ETH Zurich

When placing an order, you receive information about the availability of the requested media in ETH Zurich’s libraries. You also receive additional details. For example, if media can be used on-site in the reference collection, or if an appointment is required in the collections and archives. Likewise, you will find more information about certain people and places with a connection to ETH Zurich in the detailed view of a result.

For members of ETH Zurich

Use the free services available to members of ETH Zurich, including placing orders at the Zurich Central Library, and access specific information about fees or changes of address under “My account”.

Shortcuts

You can open the full text of articles within the ETH Zurich network in PDF format with just one click. Contacting us directly is also easy, for example if you encounter access issues.
