Calling all cinema lovers: you can now stream the AVA Home Library

Members of ETH Zurich can now stream a selection of European and international art-house films.

Have you ever dreamed of being programme director, audience member and jury member at the same time? Film aficionados now have something to look forward to during a time when they have been unable to watch films at the cinema – you can put on your very own film festival and make that dream come true at home! In cooperation with AVA, ETH Zurich is now offering a huge selection of ambitious cinema.

The AVA streaming service specialises in European and international art-house films. In order to provide cinema fans with enough material to keep them going during the coronavirus crisis, the external pageAVA Home Library is offering users the chance to stream a selection of around 200 films from the Documentary, Feature Film and Short Film categories until the end of the year. There are also a number of exclusive film collections to discover, including the Berlinale Collection, the Cannes Collection, Focus: LGBTQ and Focus: Africa. A collection of French-language films is also available.

The AVA Home Library can be accessed via the ETH Zurich network or at the ETH Library until 28 December 2020.
