Read ETH News on your mobile device, find the right building, or compare what’s on the menu in the various cafeterias… Do all this and more using the official ETH app. The latest update adds a few important functions.

As of version 3.0, users can now:

  • Select preferred ETH news sources – users can put together their own selection of news from individual departments, centres or the ETHeritage blog
  • Comment on news articles and reply to comments made by others
  • Share news and events on Facebook and Twitter, or via email
  • Enter events into their own calendar

These updates extend the existing functions, which include:

  • News: latest news on research and campus life
  • Events calendar: all public events taking place at or organised by ETH Zurich
  • Building plans: plans of the buildings at the ETH Zurich Zentrum site and the H?nggerberg campus
  • Catering facilities: daily menus for the cafeterias at ETH Zurich
  • People finder: Find contact details for all staff at ETH Zurich

The ETH app was programmed by Ubique, an agency founded and managed by graduates of ETH Zurich, working in cooperation with Corporate Communications and supported by IT Services.
