ETH contributions to the 2030 Agenda

The role of ETH Zurich

At ETH Zurich, sustainability has a long tradition. Not only in research and teaching, but also in campus life and in dialogue with society. The university's comprehensive approach to sustainability, which encompasses ecological, social and economic aspects, also plays a primary role in the university's strategic development. The President of ETH Zurich is responsible for the university's sustainability orientation; he is supported by a vice-president for sustainability who was elected by the ETH Executive Board.
