Flight allowance
Financial support can be requested for the return journey.
- Your home country must be non-European.
- You must book the flight yourself. It must be a direct flight to your home country. (Stopovers to change the plane are allowed but interruptions of your journey, e.g. for holidays, are not.)
- The departure date on the ticket must be no later than 31 August. If you do not leave Switzerland at the end of your scholarship, contact the Reception Service and ask if you still qualify for the allowance.
- You are excluded if you take a position in another foreign country instead of returning to their home country.
- You can find the amount for each eligible country a PDF attached to an email you will receive due time. (The subject of the email is "End of your stay at ETH Zurich".) The amount for the flight allowance is subject to change.
- The FCS approval process might take several weeks. ETH aims for a payment two to four weeks before your departure.

- Merge them into one PDF file.
- Upload a single PDF file in the workflow of Mobility-Online and enter the required data.
You will be notified as soon as your request has been checked. If it was approved, follow the next steps.
- Pick up the voucher at the desk of the Student Exchange Office during opening hours.
- Pick up the payment at the cash desk no longer than four weeks before your departure.
There is no possibility to wire money after your departure.
