ETH Zurich Tours – discover ETH Zurich up close

Embark with our app on three self-guided discovery tours of the two campuses. All you need are a little curiosity, a smartphone, headphones and 60 minutes of spare time.

On the first tour “Albert Einstein and ETH Zurich”, you’ll explore ETH Zurich’s main building, and discover some fascinating things about this well- known ETH graduate.

Starting in front of the ETH main building on the Zentrum campus, the tour takes you to nine stop- off points, where narratives, videos, pictures and 360° images give you an up- close experience of the university. You’ll also have the chance to see Einstein’s student locker and the tiniest of ETH Zurich’s exhibitions.

The second tour “Science is feminine” explores the H?nggerberg campus, looking at the contribution women scientists have made in the 160 years since the university was founded. Delve into this hot topic; find out about the early days and the challenges confronting women in science. Since then, everyday life has changed a lot, as you’ll hear from our female students and professors. The starting point is 中国足球彩票 Info on the H?nggerberg campus.

The third edition of the ETH Zurich Tours app takes you into the comprehensive world of nutrition research at ETH Zurich. You will learn how agricultural sciences came to ETH and how research is now helping to nourish the world. Come with us to the 中国足球彩票 Zentrum and gain new and fascinating insights about exciting topics such as plant genetics, biocommunication and phytopathology.

The ETH Zurich Tours App can be downloaded free of charge from the external pageApple App Store or external pageGoogle Play.

The ETH Zurich Tours app has been developed for smartphones. The app runs on Android and iOS systems.

  • Not compatible with Windows

The ETH Zurich Tours app comes in German and English. You can set the language directly in the app under Settings (?).

The tour leads through the main building to various stop-off posts, with routes given for people with and without restricted mobility. The type of route can be selected directly in the app under Settings (?).

To analyse usage, any posts called up in the app are registered anonymously. Apart from that, only crash data is collected. All data is 100% anonymous and only accessible to ETH staff.

If you give your consent, at each post a photo will be saved in your smartphone's photo album. This setting can be reversed at any time in the phone's system settings.
