Dialogue and collaboration

As it looks towards the further development of the H?nggerberg campus, ETH Zurich fosters and maintains exchange with ETH members, interest groups from the neighbouring districts of Affoltern and H?ngg and local policy-makers. Would you like to find out about current and future structural development and construction projects on campus? ETH Zurich provides regular information in the form of guided tours and information events on campus, and also participates in neighbourhood events in Affoltern and H?ngg. It invites specialists from the local area to exchange ideas on specific issues. On occasion, projects and requirements are developed with the assistance of local experts.

Public tours

ETH Zurich offers insights into the history and current work of ETH with public tours every Tuesday evening. Visit our collections and archive or get acquainted with our current areas of research. Visitors can look forward to learning about topics such as “High-tech meets cow pasture”, “Art for physics”, “H?nggerberg 2040” and “Globi’s school for astronauts”. Joint tours at H?nggerberg are also offered in tandem with the H?ngg nature and bird protection association and the Zurich forest laboratory. Public tours are free of charge. Private group tours

Private groups, associations, company teams and groups of children are all welcome to come on a bespoke themed tour. Depending on the programme, participants can complete their campus tour in one of our bars or restaurants and continue their discussions with our specialists and student guides.
